When buying or selling machines, Hofman Trading & Service will do their utmost to give you a good indication of the used machine’s condition. Make an appointment using our contact page.

If you would like to see a machine, you can make an appointment to see it at our location. If the machine is to your liking and you wish to purchase it, we will ask for a deposit. The balance must be paid within seven working days.

Would you like to buy a machine but are not able to visit it the next working day? We will then give you the opportunity to reserve the machine. For this we require a deposit of at least 10% of the purchase price. We will then reserve the machine for you for five days.

Do you want to sell a machine? There are several ways of doing this. Leave your details on our contact page and we will get back to you or send an email to sales@hofmantrading.com with a clear description and pictures of your machine. Based on your information, we can make you an offer by phone or email. If you like, one of our buyers can come to your location for a viewing. Of course, you can also call for a personal purchasing consultation and one of our buyers will be happy to help you.

When purchasing and selling construction/earthmoving machinery you need reliable and fast transport. With our own special transport and network, we ensure fast and reliable handling. For an additional charge, your machine will be delivered by us to the desired location/port within Europe.

If the machine is subject to VAT, you can reverse the VAT on the machine or offer it as a ‘net’ transaction by submitting your company details and a valid VAT number. This is done by means of an Intra-Community supply, Article 138(1) of Directive 2006/112. The VAT number must be valid and correspond to your company and personal data. We always check your VAT number via VIES.

If you are a buyer from a country outside the EU, you fall under the ‘export’ category and we may offer the product free of VAT. We still ask for a deposit, which at 21% is equal to the VAT amount. As soon as we receive the export declaration that the machine has left the EU, we will return the amount to you.
